Dr. Anne-Marie Potrawiak
Integrative Veterinarian, DVM, BSc, CVA, CCICRT, Vet Osteopathy

Dr. Anne-Marie Potrawiak has been passionate about animals since childhood. As a Canadian, Florida has always held a special place in her heart, as she spent many spring vacations along the Florida coast with her grandparents. She is thrilled to practice integrative veterinary medicine in Florida, where she now spends part of the year with her family.

She graduated from McGill University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology, completing a research thesis on whale and marine mammal biology while also studying the cheetah population of Namibia. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2006 from the University of Montreal.

Over the years, Dr. Potrawiak has developed a global integrative medical approach, combining small animal and exotic pet medicine with alternative disciplines such as Chinese medicine and acupuncture, food and Chinese herbal therapy, osteopathy, rehabilitation, and Class IV laser therapy. After experiencing her own Rottweiler, Enzo’s,  cancer journey—he was diagnosed at 10.5 years old with splenic hemangiosarcoma—she developed a deep passion for integrative veterinary oncology and nutrition. She completed the integrative oncology course at the Chi University of Florida and gained clinical experience managing different types of cancer using an integrative approach in collaboration with veterinary oncologists.

Dr. Potrawiak became a certified veterinary acupuncturist (I.V.A.S.) in 2011 and later completed advanced training in Chinese herbal veterinary medicine and food therapy at the Chi University of Florida. She is also a certified veterinary osteopath (IMAOV France) and a Certified Clinical Integrative Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (C.I.V.T).

With 19 years of veterinary experience, Dr. Potrawiak is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of her patients in Florida.

Outside of her veterinary career, she cares for four dogs, one cat, and her garden. She is also an avid distance runner, having participated in multiple marathons and half-marathons, including the Florida Space Coast Full Marathon in Cocoa (2017) and the Orlando Half Marathon (2024 and 2025). She enjoys running with her Gordon Setter, Ernie while practicing Canicross, a canine sport discipline.
