Erin Anthony, DVM, CVA

Veterinarian

Dr. Erin Anthony is a fun-loving, ambitious, Florida Gator-loving outdoorswoman who grew up here in Central Florida. She spent her childhood playing sports and was surrounded by all kinds of animals, from horses and dogs to peacocks and wildlife. She graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida, then went on to graduate from the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.

Since graduation, her interests have centered around the study of internal medicine, dermatology, integrative medicine, and creating a fear-free experience for all pets. She is passionate about developing a meaningful relationship between her patients and clients and understands the importance of building these connections based on trust and transparency. Every patient that Dr. Anthony helps is cared for as if they were her own- and this is a very important principle for her.

Dr. Anthony started down the integrative medical path in 2017 after wanting to give her patients more therapeutic options beyond what western medicine had to offer. She obtained her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) in 2017 and has eagerly continued to pursue other eastern and alternative therapies. She has found that optimal therapeutic results occur when combining the best of Eastern and Western Medicine in order to meet the needs of her patients.

Education is of the utmost importance to Dr. Anthony. She not only keeps up with the newest medical gold-standards by continuing to educate herself yearly at veterinary conferences but also focuses on excellent client communication to help families understand their pets’ diagnosis and options for their care.

Dr. Anthony is married to the love of her life and together they have a sweet, beautiful little girl, two loving cats, and one crazy Jack Russell terrier.
