Melanie Valentin, DVM

Dr. Melanie Valentin is originally from Puerto Rico, where her love for animals led her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.

Dr. Valentin enjoys all aspects of small-animal medicine, with special interests in preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. She believes that great veterinary care starts with building trusting relationships with pet owners and takes pride in providing compassionate, personalized care tailored to each pet’s individual needs.

She is also passionate about continuing to grow as a veterinarian and is excited to expand her knowledge of integrative medicine by exploring the additional treatment options that complement conventional veterinary care and support her patients' overall health and well-being.

When she’s not caring for pets at the hospital, Dr. Valentin enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and their pets.
